Summer Grading Results
Congratulations to all those who passed the colour belt grading on the 21st of June 2016. It was a small grading this time and there were one or two Tigers and Dragons being tested too. The advantage of the small grading was that the ITF examiner Master Howard (8th degree) was able to spend time with each student, giving them advice and feedback on what they need to work on to improve their Taekwon-Do technique and skills. Master Howard discussed the importance of flexibility, especially for any student wanting to be a red belt and perform the high kicks in Hwa Rang, break successfully and kick high in sparring.
Very well done to Neasa Britton who was presented with the grading award by Master Howard. The Taekwon-Do grading was held at the Cabra Parkside Community Centre, Rathoath Road, Dublin 7.
There will be a preliminary grading at the end of August for those wish to grade for their black belt at the RITA’s national September Black Belt grading.
The next adult and teen colour belt grading will be in September, so start preparing now.
